John's atmospheric paintings seek the mood of the painting rather than the subject itself. Felsing's approach to his art contrasts with his earlier wildlife paintings, which were detailed and attentive to defined boundaries. Earlier paintings hang in the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
John Felsing paintings are currently being exhibited at Altamira Fine Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. To view his work, see www.altamiraart.com. Look for an article about John in the November-December issue of Western Art and Architecture.
