Michigan artist Violet Freeeland began her professional career as a watercolor painter. She was drawn to the fluidity and transparency of the medium and developed a style that kept alive the vibrant colors of nature.

Recently, her heart has turned to oil painting. She studied under Mina  Greco Hall, a renowned Italian artist.
